WE ARE CERTIFIED TO INSTRUCT SACRAMENTO CCW TRAINING UNDER NEW SENATE BILL 2 LAWS.   

The important changes to be aware of for Senate Bill 2 are as follows: Initial CCW training classes are 16 hours. Sacramento CCW Renewal classes are 8 hours. Courses do include a one hour mental health component in the classroom. You will be required to provide 3 character references on your initial or renewal application. ALL guns on your permit must be owned and regsitered to you in Calironia (no spouses' gun on your permit). If you purchased your gun in California within the last 30 or so years, it is already regsitered to you. As of 01/06/2024, the "sensitive areas" of Senate Bill 2 (where a gun cannot be concealed) has been struck down by the 9th Circuit court of Appeals. Check our website for more information to follow.

Sacramento County has gone "shall issue" with CCW permits!!

Of course there may be disqualifying factors, as with any other "shall issue" authority.

Firearms safety is of the utmost importance. It is our goal to educate and prepare you for the essentials of carrying a concealed weapon safely. 

In this course, we will cover the safe handling, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, firearms nomenclature, laws of the state of CA and the use of lethal force as it pertains to self defense, concealed carry tactics, retention, holstering, drawing and firing from concealment, the social and legal aftermath and effects of an incident after the use of deadly force, and situational awareness.

Gun Safety is extremely important, which cannot be taken lightly. Becoming a handgun owner or CCW Permit Holder assumes a tremendous amount of responsibility and liability.

Now that you have purchased a gun and own a firearm (unless you have had some training) doesn't mean that you have the "correct" training, knowledge and ability to use it properly, store it safely, and be prepared for any situation. The proper training with a firearm is extremely important.

Best CCW Training conducts regularly scheduled CCW training classes throughout the month. Although Best Handgun Training provides CCW Training and Instructions/Certifications/Qualifications in 32 states, this does not apply to all CA counties.
